Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She's an actress that has appeared in numerous television series. She also excels in the world of film. Both Canadian as well as American television are fond of Emily Irene vanCamp. Emily's love for acting first began in the year 12 she was visiting the sister of Katie who was shooting one of Katie's movies. Once she discovered her passion for acting, she began to take acting classes and went for auditions. Her first audition was for a couple of commercials before getting a part on the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You Scared of Darkness? The only part she could get was one that was silent. When she was 15 years old, she made her breakthrough when she became a regular on the WB show Glory Days. Emily's acting talent attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti when the series was cancelled after only nine episodes. He cast Emily in Everwood which is his upcoming TV show. Emily can also be a professional dancer, a photographer and was listed as one of the top 20 teens' actors. In Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed Emily as the number 51.
