Molly Tarlov (born November 11, 1981) is an American actor, most well-known since 2011 for her role as Sadie Saxton on the television comedy-drama program Awkward. Tarlov was the second of two daughters, born in the home of her parents in Manhattan. As a 10-year-old, Tarlov played her role as Mrs. Peterson as part of the Little Red School House production of Bye Bye Birdie. This was greatly praised by a crowd comprised of seventh graders. As she got older she attended summer camps at Interlochen Center for the Arts and also in Paris taking classes at NYU's Tisch. Bennington College is where she earned her bachelor of Arts (theatre) and trained in many different forms of acting. The Atlantic Theater Company was another school she attended. She also incorporated writing into her performance in the LAByrinth Theater master class. Molly exchanged her winter coat with glasses in black, and set off for Los Angeles. She was not long before she landed a 3-word role on iCarly and was able to draw the interest from her family members. Since then, she's been on TV in a variety of roles. The actress also developed the character of Caitlin on Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly claims to be able to be a good basketball player even though she doesn't. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
